I run Ad-Aware and Ad-Watch. It has detected LuCheck.exe and given it a TAI (Threat Analysis Index) of 3. It is located in C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpDate. 898KB.

I've searched Google and of course the Bleepingcomputer Forum, but haven't resolved the issue. Thee appears to be no definitive reference to it on the Bleepingcomputer Forum. Can anyone throw light on the issue.

I'm not having any problems with the machine, which is scanned regularly with Symantec Antivirus, Spybot and Ad-Aware. It's also guarded with SpyBlaster.

Many thanks,

Appears that it should be OK.

Live Update is installed by Symantec and is the update utility for NAV/NIS/NSW, etc.
