Hi, I am a new member and I found this forum very useful.

I have a Eng/Chinese Dictorary software and it was working beautifully in my previous Desktop (running XP). However, after I acquired a new Fujitsu Lifebook and installed the same software to the laptop, the following dialog box always appeared after a couple of days.

The Instruction at "0x7c911404" (it changes everytime, another example 0x7c911bf7) referenced memory at "0x0070005d" (also changes everytime, another example 0x0063006d). The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

I clicked CANCEL to debug, the software closed itself. After that no matter how many time I restarted the software, the same dialog box appeared except the "......" changed everytime. The software simply cannot function anymore.

What I have to do is to uninstall the software and clear all the files in the folder, then reinstall the software. Then it can last for a couple of days, and then same problem happens again.

As this software is very useful to me, if anyone can help me to solve the problem, I am truly grateful.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Joe

The software is twinbridge two-way dictionary and it comes with Twinbridge Partner purchased around two years ago. I have checked their website and no update is provided.

Thanks anyway.

Have you used the contact us link on their home page?

by the looks of their news page They have a newer version of twinbridge partner. 02/09/07 is newer than 2 years right?

I cant really help you with what the error messages mean, but maybe you can ask twinbridge?
