I am not sure if this is the right forum, if not please move to the correct one.

I just built a computer and installed windows vist ultimate 64bit on it. Whenever I restart I have to hit F1 in order to continue to start windows. Its not really a problem but it is annoying. Does anybody know how to make it so it goes through the entire boot up process without needing to hit F1?

Thanks,

Nic

There must be some message on your screen along with the prompt to strike F1. Can you post the entire message here?

Just before the line with "Press F1" there will be an error message of some sort. That's the message that's needed to fix this issue.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Yes, I figured out what was wrong. It was trying to boot a floppy drive, but I didn't have one installed. Thanks for the help.
