Hi, i received an ipod for X-mas and up until today it has been working perfectly with my pc with itunes, syncing, being recognized by my pc etc. No however, when i plug my ipod into the usb drive, my pc says it cannot recognize what is being plugged in, and on my ipod instead of the charging/syncing sign, it just shows an apple and does nothing. Does anybody know why my Pc all of a sudden stopped recognizing my ipod?

**also i tried reinstalling itunes and that didnt work either

Battery dead?

Try resetting the ipod.

Hold menu & the middle button at the same time for 10seconds until it resets.
