Hello, I have a question. When I open my pictures that I have saved in "My Pictures" folder, they open up in QuickTime mode and not for instance, in Microsoft Digital Image Standard nor in a simple Windows type file, but always in QuickTime! How do I change how they open? Thank you.

Right click the photo file and choose "Open with..."
Select the application you want to 'open' the picture from the list,
or Browse to the one you want.
After making your selection check the small box at the lower left
that says "Always use this...." OK.

Next time, Windows will use that application to open that file type.
Remember that you will need to repeat for .jpg/.gif/.bmp etc. as you go.
Neurons that fire together, wire together.
