This may be a Firewall block. What firewall are you using?

I am using my regular windows firewall with no exceptions checked but I also have it set to let me know if it blocks anything and it is not alerting me anything.

I can download say (limeware or frostwire) just fine and install it. When I double click it to open it up it acts like it is going to open (main screen pops up) but then when the main screen goes away it never opens.

When I first started having this problem it wanted to continually try to open limeware. I deleted all of limeware and frostwire but now can not get them back working properly.

This could be it ,using 2 firewalls are causing conflicts. Shut one down and see.
