I have never posted to the BC site before! The first post, today is to say hello and introduce myself to your community in the Introductions forum.
I'm a contract researcher in the field of protective apparel, a technician.
Three computers are used to support my activities: A Dell dimension 4550, a Dell inspiron 600m, and an IBM thinkpad A31.
These are old machines and I have problems maintaining them.
The Dell machines operate on Windows XP professional SP2.
The Thinkpad operates on Windows 2000.
The computers are connected to a router via cable/or wireless.
BC tutorials look like what I need.
Any recommendations on the first to read?
thanks

Hi curiousterry, Welcome to Bleeping Computer

Perhaps start with taking a moment to visit the New User Orientation section, to get familiarized with how the board works.

You've already been spending some time in the extensive Tutorials section, which offers a wide range of information and solutions.
There is also a lot of good information in the forums.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
