Have you tried going to My Computer and right clicking on your CD drive (with the CD in) and going to "Open" or "Explore?" It sounds like you might have the AutoPlay feature turned off which is why the CD didn't load upon insertion.

"And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 (ESV)

Just to add:

A photo album is a program of its own, has to be installed just like any other program.

I suspect that...if you open the photo album and then navigate (in the album) to the pictures CD, copies of the pics will then load into the album (and onto your hard drive within the photo album program folder.

That's how Kodak works and any other photo album which I've tried. The albums just contain copies of photos from some other origin.

If you haven't figured it out by tomorrow, I'll see my daughter then. She's a whizz with Walmart and their photo department
