Heya,

During the Christmas holidays I went overseas to visit my parents/have fun and they used a recorder and made a DVD for us...

So now in Canada I try to play this on my DVD and released it didn't play... I researched why and it turns out that I have to convert it from PAL to NTSC but I have no idea how

I managed to use DVD Shrink to make a copy of it on my PC and I tried to burn it that way (full backup, region free) but that didn't work

I know I can play this on my PC but I dun want to show my friends the things I did on my PC (it's just not practical) - my PC is also old so I don't have a "TV" connector on it (my brother won't let me use his PC)

Is there an easy way to do this - btw I have NEVER done this before - so keep in mind I'm a newbie

They do sell conversion software. This one offers a free trial

I haven't seen our resident DVD/CD guru, Da Chew around today. He might have some solutions or recommendations

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
