I need help. I am new to this site. I am a state employee, and have been surfing the web in my downtime, mainly looking at myspace and layouts for it. Late last week, my computer started acting crazy. These things keep popping up saying I am infected with spyware, adware, and that the porn sites I go to are being tracked. I am a wife and mother of two young boys. Although that doesn't necessarily rule out me looking at porn, I really haven't been. I don't at home, and I definitely wouldn't at my place of employement. I have Symantec on my computer here and have used it to to a full scan. It says it finds things and either quarantines or deletes them, but every day they are back. I am so afraid I am going to be fired. I don't know what to do. I have tried to download Microsoft Defender, but I have to administrative access to do that, which I don't. Please, please, please, please someone help me. I am so freakin afraid that I am in big trouble.

Hi; lets start you off with these FREE programs

asquared FREE
the EXE is
adaware 2007

you need to fully update them all, reboot and run each on a full deep scan; see what they find and let us know?they may take a few hours TO run

could you let us know your Windows version too ?

if the computer will let you , an on line scan from Trend would be good too
