So I have an HP a630n desktop PC. Always worked fine. . .I mean better than my gateway with Vista. . . anyway.

I let my son use the computer for file sharing; And porn research Iím sure! Now it sucks!

Can I just start it over from the beginning without any of the disks it came with? I wish I had them! Iím afraid if I cant fix this is will be trash for sure.

Anyone know If I should toss this machine or can it be saved?

I have to ask...where are the disks that came with the computer?

I'm fairly sure they were provided for just such situations.

In case you find them or use a MS XP CD, here are your drivers which may be needed: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...;product=426322

You can get a set of recovery disks, fairly inexpensive, here:

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
