McAfee IDed a trojan last night and I can't get rid of it. I also ran Adaware this morning and it picked up 4 more but was able to delete 2 of them. The one McAfee caught was in Windows under the file name mrofinu572.exe. I am getting lots of pop-ups, pages and searches I didn't pull up, and the computer is slow and tries to freeze up. Also this morning when I ran Adaware, I lost connectivity when I was trying to delete the spyware. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I tried to download HijackThis but either it didn't download or it's lost somewhere in my computer because I can't find it to run it. Please help me, I don't know what I'm doing here.

I found HJT, it dumped it in a temporary file, and I posted my log in the other forum.

Hello kellydoz,

Now that you have an open HJT log posted in the HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal forum, you shouldn't make any changes to your system.
Doing so, could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system.

At this point, the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

I'm closing this topic until you are cleared by the HJT Team.
If, after your log has been cleaned, you still need help, please PM a Moderator and we will re-open this topic.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
