Hello all,

I am a computer professional (database admin) who moonlights as a PC-repair guy. I started doing this as a favor to family and friends several years ago, and it's turned into a nice little side business.

Usually I can fix things myself (using my knowledge & experience) or by reading forums like this one. Occasionally though, I run across some some strangeness that I cannot fix. I hope that by my posting unique issues on this forum and working with the experts on a solution, it will benefit the community as a whole.

Hiya jvance, to BC!
I like the title "PC-repair guy", sounds like me although I'm usually fixing problems I made :flowers: .
I'm sure if you come across a problem you've never seen before, someone else has and can help you fix it. :trumpet:
