Hello have you scanned PC from safe mode with your antivirus and antispyware tools?
If possible download and update this SUPERAntispyware
Run a complete scanand quarantine all items found.
Then retrieve the removal information after reboot, launch SUPERAntispyware again.
Click Preferences, then click the Statistics/Logs tab.
Under Scanner Logs, double-click SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log.
If there are several logs, click the current dated log and press View log.
A text file will open in your default text editor.
Please copy and paste the Scan Log results in your next reply.
Click Close to exit the program.

it would be helpful to know what exactly the 'every avenue' includes; as one does not at this point in time , know what you have already tried

and what your antivirus program is?

when did you last attempt to run a defragment on it ?
