Really dumb question I know but somehow my "Connect to Internet" short cut on the desk top has been deleted or lost and the really silly thing is I don't know how to get it back on the desktop?

I'm sure you can help and thank you in advance for your time, My PC is Windows ME.

Ok Pete what I would do is open Windows Explorer and click on Dial-Up Networking down the bottom. In there you should see your ISP name, just right-click on it and select Create Short-cut and it will say Windows cannot create a shortcut here. Do you wnat the shortcut to be placed on your desktop instead? Click Yes.

Hi Luciddreamer92,

Now that you have an open HJT log posted in the HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal forum, you shouldn't make any changes to your system.
Doing so, could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system.

At this point, the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

I'm closing this topic until you are cleared by the HJT Team.
If, after your log has been cleaned, you still need help, please PM a Moderator and we will re-open this topic.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
