Ya, I guess I'm rooting for the giants too since I live in New York, but I never watch football so it doesn't matter to me. Anyway I usually prefer the underdog. Lol, I'm just in it for the awesome food and drinks!

Good Food and Good Beverages.... enjoy! It's a one day a year affair no matter who might play.

//Aside: I always spell it as "GIANTS" just to tickle some here.

And here I thought this topic was about the only new car my dad ever had which he called Big Blue. Sadly, when he finally traded it for another car, the woman who got it crashed and totalled it the next day. Bye-bye Big Blue R.I.P.

I just got a news alert from the NYTimes: The Giants beat the Patriots by 3 points in a last minute touchdown.

Methinks the two teams are basically of equal caliber.

My apologizes to M'Lady... you just don't understand football or the Super Bowl either. This was a big upset.

I figure for those who are into it that you all were on the edges of your seats waiting for the outcome and rooting for your favored teams. Really, it could have gone either way.

I gather that the Patriots had been the previous champs; hence, the "big upset"?

Big Blue lives again.

p.s. I just had a superbowl of popcorn.

well... i was sitting there last night with snacks and munchies, rooting for the NY Giants from the beginning. The game was a continuous trend of great defensive plays. I was happy to see the Giants defense continuously tromping the number 1 offence in the NFL. When the Giants scored the final touchdown, everyone was cheering and hollering. That's what makes it fun. Football is no fun if you're not a fan, and hanging out with other fans.

The depressing part, though, were the commercials. They get worse and worse each year. They used to be really funny and awesome. What a let down.
