Has anyone ever heard of a "jar" file. When I try to load the program it tell me it can't locate the "Jar" file.

Jar file is an executable file. It was programed with Java. You need Java Runtime Enviroment to run it. Google with keyword "Java Runtime Environment" to download this enviroment.
