Cassette To Hard Drive?

I have my Technics dual tape deck plugged into the line in on my Hewlett Packard Pavilion.

I can listen to my tapes now through my computer but how can I record these tapes to my hard drive and then make MP3s out of them?

great free program called audacity!...I actually record my singing and guitar stuff with it..it's great..and it's easy to use....
