I attempted to do all steps of the preparation but it literally took me 7 hours to get through everything and just about every step was unsuccessful so I am a tad frustrated at this point and ready to put this in the hands of you professionals.

1) Account created
2) I will receive all replies via email immediately
3) Temporary Files were cleaned (almost 3.1 GB)
4) Started an ad-aware scan but every time it got to an .exe such as Combofix.exe, avenger.exe, SybotSD.exe it would hang for almost 30 minutes before starting back up. I let this run for two and a half hours before getting frustrated and moving on to the next step. I can't even get Spybot S&D to load up. I double click on the icon and it just sits there and does nothing noticeable.
5) Tried scanning with Housecall and it rebooted my computer somewhere in the middle of the scan... Did this three times before moving on. I'm running Vista Home so I can't run Panda. Bit Defender did the same thing as Spybot S&D. No luck running that.
6) I ran Stinger and had the same experience as Ad-Aware... Every time it got to an .exe that was obviously a virus checker, spyware scanner, etc it would hang for at least 30 minutes. I let this run for an hour and a half before moving on.
7) I installed Sygate Personal Firewall (I had no software firewall running only my wireless router firewall), rebooted the computer and the program will not start. I attempt to start it manually and get a "This is not a valid Win32 application" error. I also get that error when trying to start my Avast manually which doesn't load up during startup either.
8) When I try to run Windows update I get an Error Code: 80070422
9) I downloaded HijackThis and installed in the recommended location. I got the same error that I got when I tried to run Sygate Personal Firewall ("This is not a valid Win32 application." However, I had already downloaded MGTools from reading through some other threads and I was able to get analyse.exe to run from within c:\MGTools. Here is the log from that scan and I also attached to the message:

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2
Scan saved at 4:19:14 PM, on 2/1/2008

Fixed this on my own:

Safe-mode
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (found 3... see attached screenshot)
Reboot into Safe Mode
Combofix (found the files and quarantined them... see the log)
Rebooted
Spybot S&D (found and removed Win32.Bagle.hi registry key)
Reinstalled all programs that were getting the "XXX is not a valid WIN32 Application" (i.e Avast, HijackThis, etc)
Rebooted

So far, so good... If someone happens to stumble across this and thinks I may still have some residuals let me know. I'll see the replies via email.

Thanks, but I couldn't wait ... Had to get my tax return completed... LOL
