System Restore Taking Forever

hey guys...my wireless stopped working all of a sudden (it said that the wireless adapter was not installed) so for some reason i decided to do a system restore....now my computer has had a blank screen for about 3 hrs! wht do i do??? shud i restart...someone plz help!

"System restore" means different things to different persons.

Can you tell us exactly what you did...and any error messages that appeared while you were doing this?
