Title says most of it. I reformated a disk using fdisk but for some reason fdisk could only detect 5.5 gigs. How can I get the rest of it?

BTW IDE Drive

How does the drive appear in Disk Management (capacity, used, etc.)?

Have you run chkdsk /r on the drive from the Recovery Console?

Why are you using fdisk when you can format from the Disk Management window?
