Ok i got a samsung tx-r2765 hdtv. crt.

When im playing on my xbox 360 the image is stretched too far on the left and right side of the screen. I tried fixing the problem in the service menu but found no option to make the image smaller, i could just move it around which didn't help. It does it in both 480p and 1080i.

Putting the Tv into wide(16:9) doesn't help.

Hardware problem by the sounds of it. Get your Xbox serviced.

Firstly, does other devices that plug into your screen work?
