Hi,

I'm posting this for a friend, trying to help her out. Norton suddenly found 3 Trojans and this infostealer.gampass on her system this morning. Slowed her system to a crawl and she managed to get it into safe mode. I have no idea what she should do from there. As she's in safe mode, she's without internet on the laptop.

I found something on symantec, but I'm not sure going into the registry is a wise move.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Blayze

Hello Blayze and welcome to BC :flowers:

What is her operating system?

Has she run Norton in safe mode?

Has she run any anti-spyware programs? If so, which ones?

Did Norton give names for these trojans? If so, what are they?
