I did some search in the forum but can't seem to find the answer so, ....

I have an old 'puter that I want to donate to a second hand store. I've erased everything in it but not the deep files. How do I completely wipe out the hard drive so identity files are all gone? Is there a software available for this?
Thanks in advance.
