Hi all.
My system specs:
Celeron 2.4 Ghz
1 Gb DDR RAM
40 Gb HDD
Intel 845g onboard gfx.
OSes:Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon,Windows XP [on D:\ drive], Windows Vista [on C:\ drive].

Just yesterday, I managed to get my copy of Vista business and had it running fine in about an hour. Now I want to remove my old XP lfrom D: drive without altering other two OSes in any way.I cleared the Windows.old directory from C:\ that Vista had created. Now, How can I uninstall XP.?Can I just delete the D:\Windows folder.? Or is there more to it.?
Thanks.!

If XP is on the D: drive and Vista is on the C: drive - you can boot into Vista and format the D: drive (or delete what you want from it)
Then you'll need to edit the boot files to remove XP from the choices there. Here's a nice, free program for that: http://www.vistabootpro.org/
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
