When attempting to retrieve updates from the Microsoft Updates website, I keep getting the error message 0x80072EE7.

My internet connection is fine. I tried the solutions documented on the microsoft help-sites like stopping the updateservice and restarting it, renaming update-directories in the windows directory, cleaning the registry, etc. I running Norton Internet Security (antivirus/firewall) and also loaded Ad-Aware 2007 (free). Both systems show my computer running clean with no viruses.

Any recommendations?
