This is for my sister, but her desktop computer, will NOT play DVD movies. I downloaded DivX to see if that would help, but it didnt. When I go to Device Manager, the Multimedia Video Controller has a yellow question mark beside it. What can I do?

That means the driver is either missing or corrupted. Do you have the make and model or her computer?

Go back to Device Manger, and by the device that has the yellow exclamation point open it up and click on the Driver tab. It should tell you there. Don't use Windows to update it. If it doesn't show there, she'll have to download SIW Run it and expand the + by Devices and the + by Sound controllers. It should be listed there
