I am having difficulty in removing the following game. My son has lost the cd disk and is no longer able to play.It Attempts to load other activision games appear to be hindered.

EMPIRE DAWN OF THE MODERN WORLD.
Attempts to remove result in the following message :-

Cannot open INSTALL.log file.

I Have tried contacting Activision support and got no response
Is it possible?

Any help appreciated

If safe mode doesn't work, try manually removing it. WARNING: You must be VERY CAREFUL if you manually remove it. You might accidentally delete a system file and make your computer unusable.
First start off by going to %SYSTEMROOT%\Program Files\[game file folder]
Once there delete the [game file folder]

again, be VERY CAREFUL!

You can try one of these freeware applications:
Uninstaller
My Uninstaller
After it's uninstalled you can download and run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to get rid of any remnants. Just check anything referring to the game. The utility should not be used for any Windows Office applications, just so you know
