Howdy all,

After Installing (freshly) WinXP-Pro 32-bit os I can go online and use speakeasy.net/speedtest to test my net speed and I'm running with charter cable co, getting 10mbps speed and all my up/dwnld speed registers a little over 10mbps speed, But whenever I download all of the win-updates and sp2 updates my download speed drops to 4 or 5mbps and my upload speed stays the same fast! is there anyone out there who might have experienced this problem with there speeds after getting the windows updates? If so what did u do to correct the problem?
Thanks soooooooo much.....
Cheers :>

On Speakeasy, 480 Mbps is about right for downloads on my cable system. 370K is what I get for uploads. Uploads are much slower on residential connections.
