Hi Richie,

Unfortunately, I don't have the McAfee disc. Do I try to uninstall from my control panel? I did take a look at it in the control panel and it says McAfee was last used on 1/15/09. How is this possible?

Thanks,
Suzan

I suggest you do the following.
Download Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic[Free]:
http://www.free-av.com/

Disconnect from the internet.
Click Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and remove/uninstall McAfee, then restart your pc.

Now install Avira AntiVir Personal Edition Classic.
Reconnect to the internet.
Perform a full scan with Avira and allow it to delete everything it detects.
Restart your pc when you've done.
After restart, open Avira Antivirus and select "Reports".
Then double click the report from the full scan you have just completed.
Click the "Report File" button, then copy and paste the report into your next reply.

Also let me know how your pc is running now.

Hi Richie,

OK, here is the report but the quarantined items, 13 I believe, were not automatically deleted. So, I'm sending this report first and if I should manually delete them with your instruction, I will.

Thanks,
Suzan

Hi Richie,

I believe my pc is running much better. However, my husband states his site is running very slow. I'm listed under my husbands primary account. I will get back to you on this point. I also no longer have the pop-up from McAfee-that's resolved as well, thanks.

Suzan
