BTW, . . . Be careful what you leave plugged in and leave unattended !!

" Man, am I glad I work at home now. If I didn't, I might not have one anymore! I was at my desk this morning - prepping for a web seminar I'm doing in about 15 minutes when I heard this loud POP and sizzle noise. Then, the smell wafted in - the smell of electricity and burning. I'm walking around trying to figure out what it is - when I spy a battery pack my son left plugged in to charge while he is at school, well, what was left of it anyway"

Hi Boopme,

Oh, I'm OK, I just found this and thought it might be a good note of caution, you never know, some little reminders,

are often very helpful. I have had my close calls but this wasn't mine.

Thanks for you thoughts.

Hi TZ !

I'm glad it didn't grt to the critical point, it sounds like a pretty close call, next time you gona need to phone someone and have them go check for you.

I still haven't got to that sound trak yet.

BTW you don't happen to know anything about language translation software and that kind of stuff do you ?

TZ,

Thanks, Appreciate your efforts, I already use that one, I really would like to have some software or feel confident about the privacy, after all you now, . .

"We live in perverted times, my friend."

But yeah I am trying some stuff, but I get a message and I can only pay the service to translate it, but thats getting expensive, so I've been trying ;

This;

but somethings not working, so it might take me a couple more days but I'll probably wind up with XP service pack, I have a XP installation disk on the way, I think that will help alot.

But I just hate the thought of using those internet translations, like babel, they work ok, and I'm glad that I get the message but I would much rather have personal privacy, but thanks

Sorry i couldn't help.

There isn't alot of freeware that can do stuff like that. I've had problems with software "caliming" to be free. But it was just a 15 day trial which really grinded my gears.

Keep looking though. I'll do some searching for you to :D
