( i try to click the remove file from list to be downloaded and it does nothing. I know microsoftd site works cause i have three other computers that is donloading updates right currently from the same site and I did the same thing for all four of the computers. i had the same problem once but mine had to do with a popup blocker i was using and once i removed the popup blocker i was able to view the download window. i also messed around with my security settings in my zones and set everything to low even the restricted sites. i don't know if that was what did it but either it was me getting rid of the popup blocker or setting all my zones to low. if you mess with your zones just copy down what they were set to before you set them to low, because you'll want to set them back if it doesn't help. i think mostly my problem was possiblely a activex problem or something else altogether, but when i messed around with those two things it fixed my problem.
