Toshiba Satellite Laptop A105-S4075

The card reader at the front of my laptop has stopped working. Its not showing up in device manager. Add hardware trouble shooter is claiming the device (SDA standard compliant SD host controller I think is the device) is working properly. I'm assuming I need to update my drivers but I don't know where from. Any help appreciated

In the device manager do you see any yellow exclamation marks or red error indicators when you open the tree of the Universal Serial Bus controllers?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

You'll have to go here to look for drivers: http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi....jsp?service=UK
More information from your computer will be required to find the drivers there.

FWIW - I found a similar driver for this (for Vista) on the HP website through a Google search (I installed Vista on my Toshiba M45 laptop).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

- John  (my website: http://www.carrona.org/ )**If you need a more detailed explanation, please ask for it. I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.<p>If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond. If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.
