I've had this Canon i550 for a couple years and just lived with its poor COLOR printing for a year or so. I've run the cleaner numerous times and even the DEEP cleaner a couple times too. I have used both ORIGINAL Canon cartridges and OEMs - no difference. Any solutions or hep would be DEEPLY appreciated. Thanks

IMO...printers are not made to have longevity, all you have to do is look at how many new ones come out in any period of time.

I've never had a complaint about the colors of any of my cheap printers (Lexmark, HP, Epson). Color compared to what? Are we talking all images or scanned images?

My solution (for me) would be to just buy a new printer, there is no reason to tolerate poor print quality today, given the price/volume ratio of printers available.

How does a test page print out?
