It would help to know what make and model your computer is, or if it is a custom machine what is the motherboard. If it is a custom build did you install the drivers for the motherboard after installing the OS?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

You will need to post the M/B details, do you have the drivers disk that came with your PC? If not go to this link and post the hardware results only. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Computers you purchase in stores are like Dell, HP, Gateway..., a custom built computer is one that either you have built or had built for you.

What manufacturer and model is your computer?

Go into the Device Manager and click on the box with the X inside of it next to the Sound, video and game controllers, are there any yellow or red indicators in the menu that drops down?

Start> right click on My Computer> Manage> Device Manager.
