I have a last.fm widget in my sig that shows what Ive recently listened to..
Now I noticed that I recently listened to a song with a somewhat explicit title (I have quiet a few offensive songs- I wouldnt like any imput on what music is appropriate thank you :] )

Can I get banned for that?
Like if it shows Ive been listening to something obscene.. and the title is just as obscene..

I will have it out of my signature as soon as I can.
But Id like a heads up incase I listen to it again.. or something alike

Thanks guys :flowers:

Rule of thumb states "if you have to ask, then it is likely to offend someone". And one of the forum rules is: "There will be no use of profanity on our message boards. This will not be tolerated and can lead to immediate suspension."

So I'll let you figure out the answer.

I'll echo the Animal...

Never offend any others. Walk softly and enjoy life. Smile always! You'd be surprised at the reactions you get from others.

Thanks KoanYorel
I didnt intend on offending others. I actually thought my last.fm would have updates and no one would have known..

I thought it would be better to bring it to peoples attention rather than have people bring it to my attention

Thanks for posting (and for removing the sig)! I noticed it and was considering what to do about it (as the language it displayed was, IMO, profane and offensive). And, thanks for removing it!
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

- John  (my website: http://www.carrona.org/ )**If you need a more detailed explanation, please ask for it. I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.<p>If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond. If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.

You did well in removing such.

In the future, should you have doubt... ask any Mod via PM?

Remember - family friendly - and we all share?

I think it is important to keep in mind that what might be appropriate information to share with others at MySpace might not be so a public forum such as BC, and that discretion is generally not a bad idea especially when you consider the potential audience for the information.
That you were concerned in the first place about this is to your credit, as well as your decision to remove the widget.
Cheers,
John
