hey, plz help me!

My 30 day trial of vista is over. I bought windows XP cause vista sux. When i got home to install XP, it went fine, untill it had to install files like cmnicfg.xml & ipcfg.xml & xrd. I had to pass the files, but then when it was finished installing, it said that windows couldn't be used because of the missing files.

I dont know if it is a 64-bit, but can it be because of the 64 - bit it wont work, or anything?

Plz help thanks!
