Laptop Keeps Spiking, Laptop Crashing Every So Often And Cpu Spiking Tp 100% Every 12 Secs

Hi all,

My Sony Vaio is crashing every so often. Can be from once to numerous times in one day and sometimes only surfing the internet.

Have noticed that CPU usage spikes to 100% every 12 seconds???

Please help!!!
