Getting desperate here guys!

Firstly, hello, obviously i'm new (first post etc etc). Just been browsing around and you guys certainly pop up a lot around google with any spyware/malware searches with what seems like amazing advice!

Onwards to my problem. This started just being a bit irratating, and it's now turned into a compleat blood boiling annoyance. My last format was not too long ago, maybe 3-4 months but that fresh start didn't last long at all! Start-ups are taking forever, i'm talking a good 10-15 mins before i'm at a stage where it will allow me to start opening a program, which in itself takes a good while. Secondly, whenever a new program opens which has not been opened since start-up, everything will freeze for a few minutes, even if it's just the windows calculator. Basically, everything is slow and clunky. It feels cluttered, but there really isn't much bloat-wear that is intentionally on here. I'm even tempted to say the HDD is on the way out, but I thought i'd let you experts take a browse of my logs as a few things came up as suspect.

Oh, just quickly before the actual logs, just one last symptom. Whenever I alt tab out of a game (and it's only noticable when it is a game) I get the usual 1-2 seconds of black screen whilst it swaps back to the desktop, but in this black screen is what looks like a pop up saying something along the lines of "try some of these similar catagories" then listing some links. You cannot use the popup as the cursor is not present, but it stinks of spy/malware!

I've scanned with all the usual suspects, ad-aware, spybot, zonealarm pro, AVG, etc etc and cleaned up anything I can think of ie temp files, cache etc etc. I've gone through all the processes both running at the moment and on start-up, but cannot spot anything too suspicious. I don't have any clue of any particular infections, but I'd love it if someone could take a browse over my hijackthis log...
