This problem surfaced recently and I don't know what the remedy is. I have just the one line for my computer and before when I made an internet connection and then maybe switched to another web page, there was no problem. Now, whenever I switch I will usually get a little dialog box telling me I'm working off-line and giving me the option of going on-line or retry. when I hit the retry I get my connection okay. I get this even though my computer is still on-line?? I've looked in the Control Panel Internet Connections section and if the answer is there I'm missing it. Work-Offline is not checked under Tools.
I'm using XP Home computer Marv

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
