i have just tried running ad-aware on my laptop. as soon as the scan was complete windows went to memory dump. this si the second time it was done this. any ideas?

What version of Ad-Aware are you running? The 2007 version has some bugs and takes up lots of memory.
I'm waiting for a average computer that can't be infected with malware unless it's intentionally ........ 5 years later: I am still waiting.

what version of Windows are you running?
