I keep getting these black lines on my screen when I open certain programs. I have no idea what is causing this. Has anyone seen this before or know what is causing this, thanks for you help in advance.

:flowers: to BC!

Can't help you with your specific problem, but I do know that the folks who can are going to want to know all about your system. You might as well go ahead and post relevant details so that when they come by, they'll have something to work with.

Also, have a look through the New User Orientation Center for more info on how to get the most out of the help offered here.

It happens with various programs, but it really seems to go crazy with frostwire, the lines keep coming back.

Does it happen when there is just text on the page or does it also show up on a web page or pictures?

My guess is that you've downloaded something that infected your system...courtesy of Frostwire.

Strictly a WAG...

Since you don't accept my first premise...then have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers?

Check Event Viewer for any clues?
