I have winodws xp professional and i have a 160gb ata 133
and a 250gb sata, but it is only reading 127gb on both
drives and i can't get it to read the full 160 and 250. I
have had people tell me to download service pack 1, but i
have tried hundreds of times and it will not let me
download it, it says server not responding, but the
internet connection is perfectly fine. If anyone could
please help me it would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

When you go to www.windowsupdate.com it says server not responding?

Enter this in your address field and see if you can connect?

it will go to the site and start to download, right in the middle of the download it gets an error message that says server not responding... i keep hitting retry and it keeps saying the same thing. I have tried dozens of times and the same thing every time. My internet connection is fine when this happens to, my e-mail and websites will come up, so i am totally lost on what to do...???

The people who told you that you need sp1 are right. Xp can only read 120 gb of hd space. Unless you partition it. Try cleaning out your cookies use this program but only use the regular cleanup or it will erase all your favorites and anything in your pc that says temp.
