Just checking in to say Hello, i'm hoping to learn a lot and also to pass on the few bits of helpful information i've acquired over the years.

Cut my teeth on Dos
Weaned on Windows 3.1
Toddled onto W4WG 3.11
Made the leap to win 95
Moved to Win 98se
Shifted to Win XP Home
Struggled with Service pack 2
but OK now!
Not too keen on Gui's so having a look at Linux
But looks tricky!

Having some success in disinfecting machines with Malware
(but want to learn a lot more)

You have come to the right place, Paws. There is a lot of useful information, both in the tutorials, as well as in the forums, about the constant problem of computer infestations. BC is a friendly user community where members share their knowledge or seek help when they need it. I am sure, with your experiences on various versions of Windows, you can be of great assitance.
Welcome to BC!

Hello Paws and welcome to our community.
Nice to have you with us. I am quite impressed
on your level of knowledge. You may want to give
Cows' offer some consideration. We could always use
more knowledgeable PC users. Anyway, looking forward
to sharing information and assistance with you.
