Please Help! Malware has taken over my sisters computer. I'm not sure what she had done before it was given to me. It's a Compaq Presario S6200CL 2.08GHZ 512MB running Windows XP Home SP1. I'm guessing she for some reason uninstalled SP2, because I'm sure it came on her computer. The first thing that I notice was the control panel had been restricted. I did some research and found the registry entry that was responsible and fixed it. Then ran Norton Antivirus for a virus scan.

Here is the antivirus log file since I've had the computer.

Attached File  Threat_alerts.txt   49.6KB   8 downloads

Here is the Hijackthis log.

Attached File  hijackthis.log   9.77KB   29 downloads
