Cant Play Vcd

Many times Ive attempted to play vcd on my computer and yet files from the cd seemed to be unrecognized.Im wondering why, there could be a program I need to install first.Am I misleading?Im using xp computer.Thanks for any suggestions.

Try VLC media player

It plays most stuff

Use this one http://www.codecguide.com/download_mega.htm . After install, your media classic player can play fast all of format of multimedia files. It's very very good in my opinion.
