Hello BC! Been here a few times, mostly the software forums. Wanted to do some hardware!

This will be my first build and wanted to get some advice. Wanted to know if this motherboard is ok for some intense gaming. Also, will it bottleneck my system? Is there anything I can change to Step it up a bit? I am wanting to stay in this price range, but can go alittle higher if needed.

I also have a antec 900 case, which I already have.

Thanks BC, you guys Rock!

Yeah, you need to post your wish list in the forum itself. I don't think you want to give out your email and password.

The best way to post links from Newegg is to log out and then past the links to the products they will be public links then.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, my old computer parts started going buggy. Any way here is my public wishlist.

Also, I wanted to get 64 bit xp pro but the reviews says it isnt compatible with some games. Is it worth it to 64 bit?

I'd say your better of with a 8800GT 256MB rather than the 8800GTS 320MB. They should cost about the same, but the 8800GT is better. It is based on the newer G92 core, when the 8800GTX 320MB is based on the old G80. It also has 112 stream processors when the 8800GTS 320MB only has 96. It's weak side is that the 256MB of memory is holding it back, but that is true for the 8800GTS 320MB as well.

Compatibility on 64-bit isn't nearly as good as it is on the 32-bit side. It isn't really worth it except that you need 64 bit to get the use of the full 4GB RAM. If you want 64 bit your better of with Vista.
