Infected With Awvts Virus

My daughter shut off my virus protection and now my PC is infected.

It seems that we have the AWVTS.exe virus. What is the best way to remove this?

That file is reported to be part of Virtumonde / Trojan.Vundo.b etc.
How To Remove Winfixer / Virtumonde / Msevents / Trojan.vundo.b
