I am really confused as to why I can run windows pretty well in "windows controller domain w/safemode" but it won't load up standard? I have my task manager open and I see all the normal processes, except for windows explorer, that just doesn't seem to be stable enough to run on it's own without loading it by task, run through task manager.I have had other computers with issues and somehow managed to resolve the issue(s) but this one is driving me nuts,What's a geedy.exe,is it part of the Virtamonde.C infection? I did the checklist and ran the HJT program, and I'm currently waiting for help, but I unfortunately can't sit idle too long,or I start doing this
I hope I can get this issue(s) fixed so I can go back to my "normal" computing, graphic design creativities in photoshop and 3ds max.Great site btw, glad I actually went to microsoft self help forums,or I wouldn't have found you all. :flowers:

Hi thefreak0naleash,

Further to my PM, I see you have an open HJT log posted in the HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal forum.
You shouldn't make any changes to your system, while your HJT log is posted, as that could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system.

At this point, the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

I'm closing this topic until you are cleared by the HJT Team.
If, after your log has been cleaned, you still need help, please PM a Moderator and we will re-open this topic.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
