Hello. I'm new to posting on this site, but I've read a lot from your posts to others on the internet. I've got some malware on my computer that is causing the wallpaper to change when the computer starts up. It completely blacks out except for a small red box in the lower right corner that says: Your computer is in dangerr (spelled with 2 R's), and that I should download an anti spyware program to fix it. I caught on that this was bogus and tried to fix the problem with spybot, adaware, and a number of other spyware removers. The virus used to be able to disable the task manager and regedit funcions but I fixed that part. However, when it boots up it still has the same background and I'm sure there are some malicious .exe files running in the background. Anyways, I booted up in safe mode and ran a hijackthis scan. I attached the logfile to this message. Thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it.
